Two big events

Two significantly HUGE events:

#1) MY SISTER'S COMING! Which is terribly sad and very exciting at the same time. Should I bother to explain since the only people that read this blog seem to be those who also read my sister's blog? Just in case, Kris' visa extention got denied, so she's decided to come to the States for a little bit until she can get her bearings. That's good news that there's a slim chance I can see her!!!! Whooohoo!!!! And that's horrible, because I remember having to leave Australia too. And that was a very, very difficult thing. Compeletely amazing people, great support group, beautiful place that you start to understand and identify with. And then you must leave. So soon. No matter how long it is.

#2) I GOT A B-DAY PACKAGE FROM KRISTIN AND MY AUSSIE MATES! Which makes me oz nostalogic all over and long to instantly be there. I've promised myself not to open the rest of the cards until my birthday. As soon as I made the promise, I opened one of the cards. But after that one, I refused myself 'cause it made me 'homesick for oz.' I've been afraid to announce it to my aussie mates for some fear that it'll disappear. how odd. so i've completely, thoroughly enjoyed the package so far: grotousque mask, squishy ball with skulls (lol), little austrlian doll, turkeyish delight (no, i haven't eaten it yet. probably on my birthday, thursday. :)), and lots of cards/letters. aaaaahhh. so completely awesome! So i've read the letters, thank you Simon and Chris, and the social ideas! (which i definitely love and needed!) i'm saving the rest for thursday. i really am this time.
