updated ramblings

Quick note:
We had a barn party last night, where 10 people smashed whipped cream into their friend's face to see who had the most whipped cream stuck on their face for a prize. hehe, power corrupts absolutely.

This Saturday night we're having a bachelor auction to raise money for ADRA. uh huh. raise money for a good cause. right. my bosses believe the good cause is getting elligible guys outta their dorm rooms on Saturday nights and are trying to encourage them to take out the bored ladies in the women's dorm. so i've heard. i haven't had many problems so far. ;)
actually one of my friends, after hearing about the females complaining stated: "maybe they just don't like you."
good point. either way, apparently the powers that be want to encourage dating, group dates, individual, double-dating whatever, in an attempt to break off the affair many guys have with their computer games.

this tues., in a strictly suicidal attempt, i'm trying out for a play one of my friend's is directing. like i have time for a play! ha! but at the same time...there's something there that might change my outlook on my career which i'm exploring. the whole idea that film/television which is rooted in drama is the church of the 21st century and the biggest way to change the world, is to change the standards for American entertainment from the inside. we'll see. it's idea i'm exploring. it's one thing to be passionate about the idea. it's another to find your niche in it.
