banquet results

The banquet was Awesome!
The fencers did a great job, people seemed to have a good time and the gondola rides were gorgeous.

The lake setting was perfect (I had never seen it before). The water was dark and smooth, and there was a huge 100+foot fountain in the middle of the lake that changed colors---red, blue, white, orange--it was cool. the boat ride took us close to the big fountain, and there was a walk around the lake with white pillars. it was perfect weather and you could see the stary sky. it was lovely.

with all the business the only pictures i have of the banquet are actually afterward--with friends in the guys' lobby of course---or taken by the hired photographer (my friend Steve) who photographed couples at the gondola ride and then we made all those photos aviable on campus. The photo here is of my friends Amanda (she's represents water--she's an element), Salvador, me, David and Claudia (roommate and butterfly fairy).

anyway, people had a great time. i keep hearing people say they enjoyed that banquet the best since they've attended college, so i'm thrilled! for me, it was nice, and it's a wonderful relief that it's done. :)
