let me sing to of the joys of coffee:
oh thou coffee, which tempts the nostrils and sours the tongue,
who is only drinkable with milk and sugar,
thou that makest grown men stand straighter with the words, "straight up black."
how many times have thou, like a siren, seduced me with thy fragerance
only to be rudely awakened as a honking alarm clock with thy harsh unfriendly flavor?
tomorrow, thy may be a source of strength and dread to me in this mine hour of need.
for if thy do not energize me by morning, perhaps another doss of thy potence at noon
shall do the trick.
best regards,
the indentured servant
Becky

Amen, Hallelujah, Preach it!!!
Ah, how many days have passed when I would not have survived the light of day without the theraputic benefits of the elixer of the gods. Those days when all seems to have gone assunder... that is until the first wave of this Ambrosia washes over the rippled beach of my tongue. How many times have I owed my grades to the Devil's Brew. It is true, I couldn't live without Columbia's second favourite stimulant!
But I'm not addicted mind... I've just cultivated a healthy chemical dependency.
No definatly not addicted... I just prefer life, and the world, with it.
elixer of the gods
I am sorry, but that title is reserved only for a hot cup of chocolate!
Ok, chocolate can have the title "Elixer of the gods" but coffee will ever-more be the modern day Ambrosia!
so let it be written, so let it be done!
