"American Soldiers' View on the Iraq War"

So my presentation, "American Soldiers' Views on the Iraq War" is in 1.5 hours (I interviewed three soldiers who had been to Iraq).

I'm still preparing, I'm totally nervous and I've invited the soldiers to attend. Maybe all of the friends, teachers and the soldiers who have expressed interest will attend. Perhaps most of them will forget or not be able to make it. Either way, I'd like to present something good that will honor the men that spoke to me and will represent their views accurately.

Speaking with these soldiers has dramatically impacted my view on things and encouraged me to keep learning. I hope it does the same for others.

so what were their views?

for instance, when one soldier talked about news coverage he said, "what the media does isn't immoral, but it certainly isn't the truth."

all three of the soldiers felt that the media didn't accurately portray what was going on in Iraq, that they simply went for the sensational.

Sgt. Riley said he felt as safe driving in Iraq as he did driving down Interstate-80. More safe even, because at least there people moved out of your way when you're drivin an army vehicle.

These are some of the views that challenged me.
