Media interacting with you

Thank you, Chris for introducing me to these awesome possibilities. If you're looking for the Web to be a bit more interactive, welcome to the future...which really took off last year.

To participate in a "choose your own ending" online story, click here. It's a game from 1999, but the concept is brilliant. Press Enter go to/back to the original story starting point. Then type in an action--jump, sit, smile, throw gnocchi, remember clare, take off clothes, go home-- whatever and read the results. :)

If video's more your style, here's the first interactive video on youtube (added one month ago) which allows you to click on different parts of the video to upload you instantaneously to a different video conclusion. It's a magic trick and you actually get to pick your a card and click the results.

But if that seems to old fashion, you can always try the cinema, either a crowd participation interactive game.....

....or "a choose the plot" movie experience.
You can check out the film below and choose how you want the plot to go by visiting www.ideaadventure.com.br.

Bad news: it's in Portuguese.
Good news: it's still pretty entertaining (yay humor that transcends language barriers. ok...not "lol" quality, but you know you'd find it hilarious if you understood anyone from Brazil. Still worth exploring. Plus you don't have the irruptions of "choosing as you go" adventures. You choose and then see how it all worked out.)

If Portuguese is to daunting, check out the English-speaking Canadian version of break-through cinema with Late Fragment.

Good news: highly innovative (I suggest watching the interactive trailer to get an idea of the film).
Bad news: very dark and you have to see some of the same things over and over to see anything new on the trailer. But again, worth exploring.
