Moving along

So...I have left Oregon.

I officially have a journalism job---which I start next week.
I currently have a place to sleep---and let me just say thank God for a mostly nice condition free mattress and boxsprings a couple houses down from where I'm bunking.
I have food--Safeway run last night.
I have clothing--three bags worth of clothes, bedding, books and random stuff I "can't do without" that thankfully survived the plane ride over.
I'm mooching off other people for phone and Internet at the moment---thank God for friends---and I'm hoping to solve at least one of those problems within the next couple days.
And I may have a junky just-barely-running vehicle (according to the friend I'm loaning it from) that I can borrow for the next couple days. We'll see what kind of desperate shape the vehicle is in later today.

So all in all, things are good, in chaotic movement and on there way. I'm still suffering from a bit of vertigo, but other than that, things are doing just fine.

Love to all.
