I absolutely love this series. Brilliant, witty dialogue that you would expect from writer Steven Moffat (think Coupling). Thank you, Nana and Miss, for the happy introduction.
Bad news: there are only three episodes in the season. Next season doesn't appear until Fall 2011.
Good news: each episode is as long as a full length film and as interesting as an original---not a trilogy movie fest that starts out excellent and leaves you hating yourself for being suckered in by the end.
Favorite dialogue:
--Policeman Anderson: "Never mind that. We found the case. According to someone the murderer has the case and we found it in the hands of our favorite psychopath."
--Sherlock: "I'm not a psychopath, Anderson. I'm a high functioning sociopath. Do your research."
Policewoman: Are these human eyes?
Sherlock: Put those back!
Policewoman: They were in the microwave.
Sherlock: It's an experiment.
