so last night the entire school--or a good chunk of them--showed up to play silly games, have costume contests, win prizes, slide down a soaped-down tarp, win cash, eat free food, and shake hands. but mainly to check out the new freshmen i'm sure.
the theme: super heroes. super hero music, costumes, games and corny jokes. it was great. my first job as social vice. i had fun. tons of people dressed up. i think a lot of people had fun. we'll see. next event is Dodge Ball Saturday night. :)
among the costume winners: Ninja Turtles (complete with green skin, masks, & cardboard shells), Super Saver (super saver bags made into a prom dress), and Super Streaker (wearing a carboard box held by suspenders stratigically, with the backside saying 'censored'.) Brilliant. :)
