I'M SO EXCITED!!!!We had a Bachelor Auction at school. All proceeds go for ADRA. 10 guys.
My best friend, Claudia is gone right now with the guys' basketball team (she's their stats keeper).
So I asked Claudia hypothetically which guy she'd want and she told me Scott probably. She knows him best and he's heaps fun and hilarous.
....Three days later....
At the auction tonight during the program, I went around and asked people to help me get an early Christmas present for Claudia. :D I had collected mostly $1, $2, $5 here there, someone gave $30. Before the bidding started I had $110 for Claudia. The highest a guy had sold for was $120.
Then the bidding for Scott came out. $50, $75, $100, $150, we were competing against mainly one other girl. I didn't have anymore money, but the bids kept getting higher and people kept shoving money into my hands, saying "keep bidding! we'll make up the difference! keep going!!" $175, $200, $250...
AT $300!!!!!! WE FINALLY GOT HIM!!!!!!
And people came up afterward and were just like, if you're short, let me know, I'll put some in. :D
I'm so EXCITED! She has no idea!! So I've talked to Scott and Walter (who's got a video camera!) and I'm going to call them about 9/10 a.m. and get Claudia to come down to the lobby. (hopefully she won't have met anyone before that), and Scott will be waiting for her and I'll tell her what happened and I don't think I'll be able to go to sleep for awhile!!
