time for a change...

so for my In-Depth Reporting class i'm required to keep a blog were i comment about local, national, and international news with an emphasis on local--since that's were many of our writing assignments are going to come from. the blog is supposed to show more of an awareness of what's going on in the world and give us an introduction since more and more journalists these days are required to keep blogs as part of their job.

...so pretty much this blog is going to become much more similar to Kristin's. :)

Other changes this sem.:

-i really like the title "the collaboration" and i think we should definitely keep that, but uh, Kris we need to change the subtitle from "sisters joining together to give the best web site in the world" to perhaps "sisters united. becky writing news." something about convincing my teacher that i'm doing the work...:)

-hopefully becky will learn how to make more changes on her own blog. :)
-eventually there will be links to at least 8 more blogs (my classmates)
-much less info. about my life on the blog
-the possiblity of a new blog if i feel the need to vent more about personal stuff.
-on the other hand, you'll probably get more entrees if i only do one blog. hmmm.
-possibly more commenting on entries
-hopefully a more informed becky
