U.S. voter political resources

It's Feb. 5, 2008, and 22 states are holding state primaries.

Here's an amazing resource, a Political Dashboard that is helpful for seeing who has already voted, what the results are and when the other states will vote.

Good: There's more demographic information and history of how the state has voted in the past.

Bad: Some points are confusing. The column that shows "Yahoo! Buzz" means how much the candidate has looked up on their search engine from that state---it's not a popularity poll. And there's a couple interesting information additions that are better explained by the "What is this?" button at the top part of the page.

Another helpful resource: Project Vote Smart.

Good: The site has outlined information about almost everything: who's in office for every states, the presidential candidates profile information and addresses for everything (research the candidate, donating or checking out their opponent). Outlined facts, not fluff story-telling.

Bad: This site has a map also, but only to discover when your political party in each state is voting.
