So...since youtube won't let me post anything onto this site for whatever reason lately (possibly the dismal Internet connection), guess I'll update everyone on my very exciting life.
Spring Break has officially started, and after a day and half revisit in Rome, I'm back in Florence and taking advantage of everything that the rainy March weather has allotted to us:
Day 1
...
...
...
Day 2
...wrestle sunglasses off evil, green-toothed chimp.
...
...
...
Day 3
...
...in counseling for Day 2.
...
Day 4
...
...
...have reoccurring nightmares. See Day 2.
Day 5
...write a blog to distract from flashbacks to evil monkey.
...
...
Ok, now really.
1) I've been reading, Irving Stone's "The Agony and the Ecstasy: A Biographical Novel of Michelangelo." Recommended by a friend, this famous and thick book brings out the character of some of the most famous Renaissance artists and the people surrounding Michelangelo's life. Interesting, fun, well-researched and enlightening. Definitely worth the 600+pages so far.
2) Been finishing some freelance work with Sean. We're almost finished, man!
3) Been putting off homework.
4) Been eating at a Jewish restaurant. Adorably cool grandfather running the place. I NEED to go back. The place has good food and super accommodating and family-like staff.
Future:
I don't take off for another 10 days, so finding a way to make my resume presentable without the amazing tools I've had in the past (such as a Mac, Illustrator, InDesign, Quark...) will be exciting. Pray for me. :)
